Zig Ziglar

Zig Ziglar reminds me of that of a rock star, but he's one of the most well known and recognized motivational speakers working today. He speaks fairly often on the subject of success in sales and in business in general.

Ziglar started out small and worked his way to the top. After completing a term in the navy, Zig went to college but took only a few courses. He then turned to sales, a career in which he became incredibly successful. He was, in fact, one of the top salespersons in the company he worked for at the time.

He is a born again Christian, so you shouldn't be surprised to note a religious or spiritual undertone in all of his writings or presentations. His career skyrocketed after his first product "See You at the Top" became a renowned success.

Over the course of his career Ziglar has written over twenty books and has recorded a myriad of audio programs. He has also spent time working one-on-one with church groups, major corporations, and individuals.
