Zaken Corporation
The Zaken Corporation provides members with the information needed to understand and participate in "liquidation" sales. Membership is attained by simply paying a membership fee which gives entrepreneurs access to a wealth of training materials.
After you've reviewed the training materials, you should have good idea of how the liquidation industry works. You must do most of the legwork on your own, contacting companies to find out if they have excess stock they'd like to liquidate. You must ask for a product sample and then set the appropriate liquidation price. Once you've put together the appropriate information package, you send the information to them.
A representative at Zaken will review the deal you have arranged and determine to determine if it is worth while. Once approved, IF it is approved, the Corporation will look for a company interested in purchasing the products you have located. If they make the sale, they will take the majority of the profit and you will earn whatever is left after Zaken takes their percentage.
This sounds like a simple system to follow, but it is a source of aggravation for anyone who gets involved. They have an awful customer service department which never ever provides the "help" the promise when you sign up. They send a lovely welcome letter when you join the program. That's the only source of encouragement you're ever going to find.
You've heard it before and I'm going to say it again - "You should never have to pay for work." I mentioned a small membership fee at the beginning of this review. That "small" fee is actually closer to $700. The first $200 goes towards your associate fees and a home study course, while the other $500 goes towards the purchase of a "Lifetime Directory."
I'm sure you'd love to know what the "Lifetime Directory" actually is. It's an exclusive database that is supposed to provide you with a list of companies you can contact about purchasing products at liquidated prices. First, everyone gets access to the same list. Second, I've heard several complaints alleging that the list is outdated and includes companies that no longer exist.
Some people recommend proceeding with caution when it comes to dealing with the Zaken Corporation. I recommend running in the other direction and never looking back. The odds of making any money with this program are slim to none and you could find a much more productive way of spending your time and your money.
After examining and testing hundreds of money-making opportunities and work at home programs, ONLY ONE brought in a paycheck that covered all my monthly expenses.
