Wizetrade
You're probably reading this review because you saw a Wizetrade infomercial on television and just had to see what else you could find out about the company. Perhaps you even attended one of the free seminars that pop up occasionally in major cities. Regardless, do spend the $2,500 or $6,500 they asked you for without reading this review.
I have always been fascinated by the stock market. I enjoy looking for new stock market programs to enjoy, and that is part of what led me to review this stock trading system.
Most of the people I saw looking into this system were beginners who didn't know much about the stock market but wanted to work from home. The company president is George Thompson and he is the host on the infomercial designed to target an inexperienced audience with simple stock-picking software. Newsflash - picking stocks is never a simple task.
The program is supposedly set up to make your computer beep when you shoudl buy or trade stocks. This system of "black box trading"doesn't give you any information about the trade and has a long track record of failure.
The company itself has no documented track record. I called Wizetrade and asked for more information but was told that the software was only meant to serve as a tool to educate traders. The infomercial shows the system as a way to make money, not as an educational tool. I asked the customer service representative why they were marketing the program in such a deceptive manner and was met with nothing but silence.
The system they offer does incorporate technical indicators that traders have used for many years. The problem is that these sytems need to be incorporated with other systems and the average new trader will have no idea what these systems are or how to understand them.
Seasoned traders are furious about the program and the way it is marketed. One of their main complaints is the lack of education the system provides in the area of Risk Management. Risk management training should teach individuals when to stop trading in order to minimize their losses.
I find the Wizetrade software to be advertised as an overly simplistic product that promises magical results that just aren't possible. I browsed some of the more popular stock trading forums and asked for people who had used the system to send me an email. I received 20 responses and nine of them seemed legitimate. Of the nine reasonable responses I received, four sold their package, three never even bothered to try it, and one was waiting for help from customer service (good luck!). The last person had made over $1400 on a trade but then turned around and lost it with two other trades - likely because he knew nothing about risk management. He did feel that Wizetrade was valuable because he was learning.
Seems like an expensive education to me.
After examining and testing hundreds of money-making opportunities and work at home programs, ONLY ONE brought in a paycheck that covered all my monthly expenses.
