Rosalind Gardner burst onto the affiliate marketing scene, claiming to have earned over $500,000 per year by promoting affiliate marketing programs. Her product, The Super Affiliate Handbook, promises to teach entrepreneurs how to bring in a similar income. Whether or not it is possible remains to be seen.

The main selling point for The Super Affiliate Handbook is the price. Rosalind has opted to let the book go for an incredibly low price. The information in the book walks beginners through the process of creating and setting up an affiliate program website.

Rosalind swears that affiliate programs are the absolute best way to make money online. On the other hand, it's also pretty clear that she likely now makes most of her money by selling her own e-book. There are, however, advantages to being an affiliate and selling someone else's product instead of your own.

As an affiliate, you are not responsible for creating the product as that work has already been completed. Your only concern is in driving traffic to your affiliate program website. The downside is that you only get paid 50%, more or less depending on the program, on each sale that you make as an affiliate. It might be better to be on the side of the product owner, but your ultimate results will depend on how much time, effort, and money you put into creating the product to begin with.

Affiliate marketers will only succeed if they have the ability to generate a substantial amount of web traffic. If you don't generate web traffic, you will not earn any money. Plain and simple. Rosalind doesn't make this point very clear in any of her marketing material.

The Super Affiliate Handbook is, hands down, for the newest of beginners. Rosalind takes advantage of the beginner's lack of knowledge and wastes a lot of time talking about trivial computer issues.

Rosalind Gardner is proud of the $500,000 she earned, but she acts as though it was easy when, in fact, that number is incredibly difficult to achieve. You must work full time at any affiliate marketing program if you expect it to achieve great results.
