Realty Trac Inc is a program designed to help real estate agents boost their businesses. Agents start by becoming members of the RealtyTrac Agent Network. As a member of the network, the agent gains access to a database where they can supposedly find information on more than 500,000 preforclosure and auction properties all over the country. The program Realty Trac provides a website where agents can access a variety of resources, including e-books, sponsor links and a wealth of real estate releated research. The company also offers an affiliate program that agents are encouraged to participate in.

Joining the RT affiliate program is free of charge. It costs $7 to purchase a list of leads and affiliates earn $17 for every sale they make. Affiliates have access to a program manager and receive an Affiliate Marketing Starter Kit. The affiliate link contains a cookie which is good for 90 days - meaning anyone who clicks on your link from their personal computer will automatically be redirected to your site even if they click on the link from another affiliate. This guarantees you'll get the sale because you made original contact.

I browsed the internet and found that RealtyTrac has a relatively decent reputation. A few people noted that the list of properties is outdated, making it partially invalid. Investing in real estate is a great way to make money and they do provide some valid and useful information. This program might not be great for beginners, as it's easier to understand if you already have a good understanding about how the real estate business works. Most successful real estate entrepreneurs sleep, eat, and breathe their businesses 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This might not be the program for you if you aren't interested in working long hours.
