Val Smyth is the well known internet marketing expert who developed the Mentors in Motion program. The program works by setting up teleconferences in which individuals can speak to mentors about internet marketing, advertising, and related subjects.

Affiliates are responsible for marketing the Mentors program. Most of the affiliates participating in the program have taken part in their own teleconferences. They're using the program as a tool to market their own affiliate products or mentoring services. Most of the mentors in the program are dedicated to helping entrepreneurs learn how to market their businesses and earn higher levels of income.

MIM was created after Val Smyth took part in a variety of internet marketing workshops. He became successful in internet marketing and wanted to share his knowledge and success with others.

The seminars Val Smyth offers are open to both the public and to major corporations. He has nothing to hide and allows participants to record the seminars they are participating in. Val will even let you attend the same seminar multiple times. The seminars contain presentations on regarding marketing techniques and strategies.

MIM, like most programs, has been the subject of criticism. Everyone in attendance tends to have a personal agenda, so it is difficult to have your personal questions answered in a thorough manner.

While I think the concept behind Mentors in Motion is creative, I'm not sure it provides a lucrative business opportunity. There aren't many people online who have earned a living by selling mentoring seminars - even if that mentoring comes from famous marketers.

While Val Smyth's team of mentors provides quality information, they do not provide participants with the tools necessary to use that information. That lack of information is a major drawback.
