George Fontanills

One of the original founders of the Optionetics Company, George Fontanills is proud to currently be recognized as the President Emeritus. Both sis association with the company and his incredible leadership capacity have led him to become a respected authority on the subject of investments and trading. His students fondly refer to him as "the dean of options trading."

Fontanills started out by earning his MBA from Harvard Business School. He then went on to land a prestigious position on the floor of the American Stock Exchange. Later, he dedicated years of his life to heading up his own money management fund and to developing his own hedge fund.

Far from a stranger to the market, George took the experience he gained trading options and turned it into a series of books dedicated to helping others become successful as well. Some of his titles include: The Options Course; The Options Course Workbook; The Stock Market Course; The Volatility Course; and The Volatility Course Workbook.

Even Fontanills isn't a stranger to the harsh views of critics. George is believed to have been directly involved in a lawsuit between Optionetics and FIMAT, which was later settled.

The Optionetics company itself is subject to scrutiny as well. The information they present at seminars is presented in a very quick and purposely overwhelming manner. While this is standard practice for seminar companies, it's been the subject of many complaints as attendees feel forced to purchase products in order to gain any benefit at all from what they heard.

George Fontanills and his company are known for being a little secretive about the risks involved in trading on the stock market. While it is certainly possible to make a living on the stock market, it's not the right path for everyone. He and Optionetics seem to forget that in order to be successful one must spend time practicing and researching the market. It will take much more than George Fontanill's program in order to succeed.
