Gary Halbert

I am sorry to preface this article by noting that Gary Halbert passed away in April of 2007.

He was one of the most influential and successful copywriters I've ever had the privilige of researching. He spent his lifetime writing sales letters and marketing campaigns for a variety of industries. He worked for individual clients and large corporations alike.

The G. Halbert Letter first came into existence many, many years ago. Halbert originally charged a small fee for access to this newsletter and his students and peers were more than willing to pay the charge. Today, copies of the newsletters can be found online free of charge.

Sadly, his success led him to trouble. He started accepting payment from potential clients and then disappearing without delivering the promised product. As the list of cheated clients grew, so did the attention he received from the authorities. He was sentenced to a brief jail term because of his fraudulent business practices.

Halbert had no trouble rebuilding his career after serving his time behind bars. He began to speak as a guest at seminars while at the same time developing his own marketing classes. His book, "The World of Your Name," was published later in life as well.

Halbert had a way with the written word rivaled by none. His ability to write enigmatic copy in the area of sales and marketing is astounding. He tended to brush aside modern writing techniques, opting to stick with his own methods. His style obviously worked well for him.

After examining and testing hundreds of money-making opportunities and work at home programs, ONLY ONE brought in a paycheck that covered all my monthly expenses. Click here to go to this website.
