Individuals are encouraged to order a free CD and pay $2 for shipping. The purchase of this CD starts a free trial period, after which FastAuction.com will begin billing you for membership. The company includes information about their free trial period in their terms of service. Who's going to read the terms of service when they think that what they are ordering is a free or low-cost gift? Unfortunately, FastAuction.com will start charging you $49.95 per month if you do not cancel after your free trial expires. Even worse is the fact that they will include a free trial to Click Builder in your membership. If you don't realize and cancel that membership you will find yourself charged an additional $79.95! Sadly, there are quite a few companies online that participate in unethical billing practices such as this. The company is hoping you either won't notice the charges or that you won't remember the fees until it's too late to cancel. I've received emails from quite a few people who have had terrible experiences with FastAuction.com. You will have a difficult time getting a customer service representative on the phone at FastAuction.com. That means you'll have to deal directly with your bank or credit card company in an attempt to get the charges removed. The problems associated with Fast Auction aren't worth it for a $2 CD. Besides, eBay provides tons of free training and there are other free and low cost options online as well.
