The Canadian Diamond Traders program has recently popped up across the internet. Simply put, it's just another get rich quick scheme. This program is a pyramid scheme. They promise participants a diamond and extra financial bonuses for completing the program.

This oddly developed pyramid scheme consists of four separate steps. You start out as a Diamond Miner, where you make your own financial contribution, otherwise referred to as a deposit for a diamond. After helping to recruit new Diamond Trader Members you will be promoted to the status of Diamond Cutter. Further referral work will earn you the title of Diamond Polisher. After referring even MORE members, you'll be known as a Diamond Collector and will have earned your diamond. After you've earned your diamond, the CDTraders will encourage you to start the process all over again. Who wouldn't want another diamond?

Again, this program is known as a scheme and has spread rapidly across the entire world. The Western Australian Department of Consumer and Employment Protection has officially announced that they believe the CDTraders program is a pyramid scheme. Pyramid schemes violate the Australian Fair Trading Act.

Canadian officials continue to state that they will impose fines and penalties against those who participate in this program. This company is considered a pyramid scheme because they collect money without selling any sort of tangible product or service. Remember, pyramid schemes are illegal.
