Benjamin Graham
Benjamin Graham is an esteemed and highly regarded financial investor, well versed in economic theories. Most of the work Graham did took place in the 1930's and the 1950's, but his legend lives on. He is particularly popular because of the success of one of his students - Warren Buffet.
Buffet is quick to give Graham credit for being his greatest influence. Before he died, Graham wrote four books. Two of those books (Security Analysis and The Intelligent Investor) are endorsed by Buffet and are still widely used references.
Graham was known as "The Dean of Wall Street." He had a unique approach in the way he looked at the stock market. He focused on the long term health of companies as opposed to the day to day changes in the market.
Benjamin Graham worked with David Dodd to develop a program known as Value Investing. They would search for companies they believed would be successful and invest in them while their prices were still at reasonably affordable levels. While Graham was a true believer in Value Investing, he was also honest and acknowledged that a successful investor should stick with a plan that he knows will continue working.
Beginners and advanced investors alike stand to learn from the life of B. Graham. He spent a lifetime collecting wisdom and was willing to share it all. It doesn't matter which investment method you choose - Benjamin Graham's books will shed a new light on the mystery that is the stock market.
The strategies Graham developed are best used with other trading software and educational materials. One of the best programs I can recommend is the "Marl" trading software system.
The Marl program arrives from Goldman and Sachs programmers in the form of a newsletter. The newsletter report will tell you which stock Marl has chosen and it is then your responsibility to determine whether or not you will take advantage of the recommendation.
The program includes an 8-week trial period. I recommend taking advantage of this time to test the program on paper. The program usually focuses on stocks that are overlooked, making it easy for new investors with limited capital to get started.
After examining and testing hundreds of money-making opportunities and work at home programs, ONLY ONE brought in a paycheck that covered all my monthly expenses.
