Dennis and Daniel Bloom created the Ameriplan Business Opportunity in 1992. The program is designed to offer discount vision, chiropractic, pet, dental, and prescription care to uninsured and underinsured citizens across the country.

The folks at this company believe they are the largest company in the country providing these types of benefits at incredibly low costs. The low costs, combined with the fact that participants never have to purchase any sort of product or inventory, are a great incentive for those looking for a new business opportunity.

Sadly, very few people have actually made any money with this Business. It is a company that makes more money off of its own brokers than it makes off of selling its product.

Your job, as a broker, is to recruit new members by convincing them that they want Ameriplan to be their new discount healthcare provider. The corporate big-wigs do not care whether or not you actually sell new memberships. They are more concerned about whether or not you are purchasing training products and recruiting friends to purchase the same.

I haven't heard from anyone who has succeeded in making serious money with them. The company isn't designed to foster success. Once you are signed up, they focus on selling you auto-responders, leads, brochures, and other marketing and training materials. They don't seem at all concerned about discount healthcare plans or with providing good service.

As a discount service provider, is doomed from the start. Most doctors offices do not accept the Ameriplan Business discount program; thus, selling the plans is incredibly difficult.

The business model is not designed for success. You'll find it difficult to get started and keeping the business moving once started is nearly impossible. Your referrer will be more interested in selling you products than in helping you find ways to actually succeed.

Ameriplan is focused on watching you work towards a goal and then taking advantage of your desire to succeed by attempting to sell you useless products. This opportunity is a waste of time and money - avoid it at all costs.
