American Cash Flow
American Cash Flow was founded by Lary Pino. The company is known for offering cash note business training. ACF has been in operation since the 1990's and has advertised under several names.
Other names the company uses include the following: American CashFlow Association, National Mortgage Investor's Institute, American CF Corporation, American CF Institute, and Diversified CashFlow Institute.
Participation in these courses will cost you quite a bit of money and the company does not promise that their training will help you to earn a profit. The home based version of the course starts at $3,000 while the live version of the seminar starts at $6,000.
A few years ago a Newsweek reporter attended one of the company's live seminars. She kept the contact information of some of her classmates and regularly followed up with them to see how they were progressing. The results were astonishing.
After eighteen months on the program, only one person was able to complete a business transaction (only one transaction). She made a few hundred dollars, though the seminar advertisements would have led her to believe she could make thousands. Compared to the cost of the seminar, the participant was still in the red, financially.
The American Cash Flow Corporation may provide good educational material, but they do not present honest information when it comes to talking about how difficult the note brokering business actually is. The research and negotiation work, combined with the competitive nature of the industry, makes getting by extremely difficult.
After examining and testing hundreds of money-making opportunities and work at home programs, ONLY ONE brought in a paycheck that covered all my monthly expenses.
