Algco
Algco, also known as "A Global Community" was developed after the company known as AllAdvantage failed. The owners of the company redesigned the business model and used it to teach others about both network marketing and the effectiveness of viral advertising.
The company operates by offering a profit sharing incentive to its members. Members are given shares of the company and earn revenues after surfing the web and spending time reviewing ads. The ads are part of Algco's specially designed advertising network.
The company is free to join and also gives members the opportunity to earn additional revenue through an affiliate program. Affiliates earn a percentage of revenue from the time their referrals spend browsing ads on the net. Because they are free to join, affiliates don't seem to have much trouble recruiting new members.
It seems like every marketing website or blog I stumble upon has at least one post which talks about the company. Most of these webmasters believe they will change the way people surf the web. Unfortunately, as far as I am aware, no one has been paid by them. New members are spending time surfing the net with the expectation that they will receive payouts, but none have come.
The project they have launched has experienced a few other problems as well. Recruits compain that the company is constantly delaying payment and that they do not regularly communicate with their affiliates and members. The company seems to be ignoring the payment issue and is not telling members when they will be paid. There is also no concrete information regarding the value of ads, so members have no way of knowing how much they will be paid for the web surfing work they have done.
The system doesn't seem to be set up like a scam, but I'd proceed with caution. It's not uncommon for new businesses to experience problems, but there is a chance that Algco will not take off - especially considering it's an offshoot of another failed company. Members might eventually be paid, but if they don't, they can rejoice in the fact that they didn't make a financial investment in order to participate.
I'll keep reviewing the situation at Algco and will update this review if it seems like things are changing. There isn't anything wrong with joining if you love to surf the web, but I would recommend not wasting a lot of time there if you're seriously looking for a way to bring in some extra income.
After examining and testing hundreds of money-making opportunities and work at home programs, ONLY ONE brought in a paycheck that covered all my monthly expenses.
